Oh dear. I had forgotten how time-consuming can sewing and adapting clothes be.

At least our budget for the next sketches didn't blow up - it would've been more expensive to buy outfits instead of fixing old pieces. :D

Babysitting one of my prof's daughter. Her name is Nanoha, and she's adorable. I hope that, when I have kids, my daughter turns up to be just as sweet as this little girl is. :3

... And right after I wake up from a much needed nap after around 10 straight hours of filming (the ~After Story~ Special, yeah, with all that happened to Yukariko and the others after the Grand Finale of our dorama that was aired last week), I wake up to a giggly Nanoha who wants me to see her drawing of "Atobe-san and Kabaji-ojichan" as bride and groom.

I'm this close to die of cute, hen revive and post them at my public blog. Of course I won't unless Kabaji-kun and Atobe-san give me the thumbs up, but damn that's cute. =D

There's nothing like coming to pick up your pre-school daughter from daycare and have one of her teachers go to you, look at you like you're a borderline Martian or something, and then ask very politely if you were the one who told Nanoha that it was okay to draw "Shishi-ojichan" in a dress and with flowers in her hair...

My reply? I put on my "I'm a public figure, can't let others see me upset over such small things" and ask, just as politely, if there was a real problem with it. She blushes and said there wasn't, jsut that she wanted to know, and then changed the conversation theme. Man, I was relieved.

It was half-amusing, half-really annoying. I bet, however, that the teacher would've been FAR less respectful to me if I had not been a well-known dorama actress...

The drawings are very cute, though. Shishido, would you like to have copies? ;D

After almost ten years in the business, I should be able to keep myself level-headed and deal with fans profesionally. But I still was touched this afternoon when I was waiting for Nanoha in front of her daycare and a teenage girl waiting for her little brother told me that my character in "Top Secret Heart", Miss Yukariko, should stop being afraid of falling in love after the death of Hanai, her first love intrest...

I passed all the tests and plays and exams. With flying colors. And got to shut up lotsa people who thought a newbie who just transferred wouldn't make it.

I hate myself for pretty much abandoning everyone until now. T_T

Sweing, sewing ~ Making costumes for sketches and tests is fun, gotta say. Haven't done so for quite a while, but since our seamstress in the group is loaded with work, helping out is a must. Can't be unfair, huh, and it keeps me busy when there's not a lot to do.

And a bit late...

Preparing those sketches we had to present this morning and getting the props for it as well almost killed all the time I had right after my birthday.
